This Privacy Policy explains how AutoContent API (the "Service"), owned and operated by Amura Ventures SL ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://autocontentapi.com (the "Site") or use our products and services.

1. WHO WE ARE

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Information you provide

Account information (such as email address and profile details).
Billing and payment information (processed by our payment providers).
Support requests and communications you send to us.

2.2 Information processed when you use the Service

Content you submit to generate outputs (for example, URLs, text, documents, or media you upload).
Generated outputs produced by the Service (for example, audio, summaries, transcripts).
For Private Notebooks, notebook names and identifiers, sources, and any questions, answers, citations, outputs, or related usage metadata accepted by a documented feature.

2.3 Information collected automatically

Usage data (such as pages visited, clicks, and feature usage).
Device and log data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps).
Cookies and similar technologies (where applicable) to support site functionality and analytics.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To process subscriptions, payments, and account management.
To generate content outputs requested by you.
To perform any Private Notebooks operations the dedicated guide lists as enabled, at your direction.
To communicate with you about the Service (including support and important updates).
To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We may share information with:

Service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, analytics, and payment processing).
Third-party AI and content-processing providers, including Google services, used when a documented feature needs provider processing to fulfill your request.
TikTok and Instagram (Meta), when you connect an account and publish content to it (see Section 6).
Authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Parties involved in a business transaction (for example, a merger or acquisition).

5. PRIVATE NOTEBOOKS AND CUSTOMER ISOLATION

One Private Notebooks license is assigned one dedicated account. Its notebooks, sources, and provider capacity are not pooled with another customer. The dedicated account and its third-party credentials remain controlled by AutoContent; customers access the service through AutoContent credentials and APIs.

"Private" describes this customer separation. It does not mean local-only or zero-knowledge processing. We and our third-party processors, including Google services, process data accepted by the documented features you use as necessary to provide, secure, and support the Service. AutoContent API is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.

You can connect a TikTok account or an Instagram professional account to a project so the Service can publish the videos and slide decks you choose. You sign in on TikTok or Instagram and approve the requested access there, and you can disconnect at any time.

6.1 What we receive and keep

Account basics: the account ID, username, and display name. For TikTok, we also read the posting options TikTok offers for your account (such as who can view a post) and your profile picture to show them on the posting screen.
Access tokens issued by TikTok or Instagram. We store them encrypted and use them only to publish content you request and to keep the connection active.
A record of each post: the caption, the posting settings you chose, its status, and the post ID and link that TikTok or Instagram returns.

6.2 How we use this access

TikTok (user.info.basic and video.publish): to show which account you are posting to and to post the videos and slideshows you approve on TikTok's posting screen. Nothing is sent to TikTok until you approve that post.
Instagram (instagram_business_basic and instagram_business_content_publish): to show which account you are posting to and to publish the Reels and carousels you post from AutoContent, or that a content loop you set up is configured to publish.
We do not read your followers, messages, comments, or analytics, we do not post anything you have not requested, and we do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

6.3 What TikTok and Instagram receive

When you publish, we send the content and caption to TikTok or Instagram through a temporary link that expires after one hour. They process it under their own terms and privacy policies. Posts are labeled as AI-generated.

6.4 Disconnecting and deleting your data

In AutoContent, open Business data, then Social accounts, and disconnect the account. We immediately delete its stored access tokens, revoke TikTok access, and cancel posts that have not started. Published posts stay on TikTok or Instagram until you remove them there.
You can also remove AutoContent API from the connected apps in your TikTok or Instagram settings.
To delete everything we hold about a connected account, including its post history, email [email protected] from the email address of your AutoContent account. We confirm the deletion within 30 days.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and how it is used.

Private Notebook content may remain available while the notebook and subscription are active.
Notebook deletion requests use the mechanism in the dedicated guide or our contact channel and are processed under our current retention procedures.
Generated Content from documented Service features may remain on our systems for up to 30 days unless a different period is stated for the feature.
Limited backups, security logs, billing records, and records required by law may be retained for a reasonable period after deletion or cancellation.

8. SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to provide appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.
