Convert any PDF into an AI podcast

Upload a PDF — a whitepaper, a contract, a textbook chapter, a slide deck export — and the API produces a two-host conversation that walks through it. The most-requested conversion on the platform: PDFs are dense, and an audio version turns a 40-minute read into a 12-minute listen.

How it works

  1. Step 1
    Submit your PDF

Send the PDF to the AutoContent API as a URL, file upload, or pasted text. The API accepts most public sources directly and supports authenticated uploads for private content.

  2. Step 2
    Pick your tone and voices

Choose from 50+ AI voices and a handful of presets that shape pacing, formality, and length. Defaults work for most use cases — tweak when the AI podcast is heading somewhere brand-sensitive.

  3. Step 3
    Receive your AI podcast

Generation typically completes in under five minutes. The API returns the finished AI podcast plus a transcript, share URL, and metadata you can plug into your existing distribution stack.

Frequently asked questions

Does it handle PDFs with tables, charts, and images?

Tables and charts are summarised into prose ("revenue grew 18% over the quarter, driven by enterprise") rather than read literally. Images are ignored — for image-heavy PDFs consider generating an infographic instead.

What about scanned PDFs?

OCR runs automatically on scanned documents. Quality depends on the scan; clean scans process well, photos of pages can be hit-or-miss.

Is there a page limit?

The API handles documents up to several hundred pages. Beyond that, split into chapters or sections — extremely long PDFs produce diluted summaries.
