Turn a book into a discussion-style podcast

Submit a book — full text, chapter excerpts, or your own notes — and the API produces a discussion-style podcast that walks through the arguments. Better suited to nonfiction than fiction; works as either a chapter-by-chapter series or a single summary episode.

How it works

  1. Step 1
    Submit your book

Send the book to the AutoContent API as a URL, file upload, or pasted text. The API accepts most public sources directly and supports authenticated uploads for private content.

  2. Step 2
    Pick your tone and voices

Choose from 50+ AI voices and a handful of presets that shape pacing, formality, and length. Defaults work for most use cases — tweak when the AI podcast is heading somewhere brand-sensitive.

  3. Step 3
    Receive your AI podcast

Generation typically completes in under five minutes. The API returns the finished AI podcast plus a transcript, share URL, and metadata you can plug into your existing distribution stack.

Frequently asked questions

Is this legal for copyrighted books?

You are responsible for the rights to the text you submit. For your own writing, public-domain works, or books you own and want a personal audio summary of, this is straightforward. Distribution of summaries of copyrighted works has its own legal calculus.

How long is a typical book podcast?

Single-episode summaries run 12–25 minutes. Per-chapter series average 6–10 minutes per chapter.

Does it work for fiction?

Mostly nonfiction. Fiction loses too much in plot summarisation; for fiction you would want full audiobook narration rather than discussion.
